These two fields are alongside the road that runs in and out of our village and we'd spotted the potential for a photo as soon as the crops started to grow and show their colour. We just loved the contrast in the colour between the wheat and the barley and just had to wait for a nice sunny evening. Initially I was going to compose the shot looking straight down the gap between the fields, but as we were approaching that position I noticed that this angle created a better composition.
