COAST TO COAST
July 2010

We have now finished our RV trip across America. We
started in San Francisco on May 11th and finished in
Boston on June 7th. The trip was utterly exhausting
but totally brilliant, we have so many fantastic memories
(and some scarey ones too!). And of course we now have
a much larger photo collection. We've also come to the
conclusion that we must be hippies at heart, because
if it was at all possible we'd have carried on travelling
for another 11 months!

Anyway, if you did follow the photo diary of our travels,
then we hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed keeping
the diary. Hopefully some of the photos will be available
on this site soon, if we ever get the time to sort them
out.

THE 12 ARTISTS OF CHRISTMAS
December 2009

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that
came and supported us during our recent art exhibition
in The Artists' Attic at Burwash Manor. It was another
fantastic opportunity for us and we had more positive
comments and sales were pretty good considering. Plus
it was a brilliant venue, it's just a real shame it
had to finish, but watch this space for future exhibitions.

USA ROAD TRIP
May 2009

In May 2009 we travelled over 3000 miles around Western
America and took hundreds of photos. We spent 3 weeks
on the road in our trusty RV, albeit with knackered
brakes which was just a tad worrying along the mountain
and coastal roads. Travelling through the states of
California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada we were truly spoilt
for photographic opportunities, the only problem was
finding somewhere to park a 30 foot motorhome.

Utah was by far the most beautiful state, although we
were shocked to discover a severe lack of coffee there,
apparently because of the predominately Mormon religion
in that state, or so we were told by a rebel Utah coffee
drinker. But our most memorable experience was driving
along a section of Route 66, the silence was deafening
and the 100+ degree heat was overwhelming. Plus all
the derelict diners and gas stations along the way were
a photographers dream. Definitely the highlight for
us.

We documented our entire travels on Facebook and have
now added the best bits to this site which can be viewed
in the ABSTRACTS,
LANDSCAPES,
TREES
AND OTHER
sections.

CHRISTMAS IN SCOTLAND
December 2008

We spent Christmas in the Scottish Highlands, an entire
week of walking, relaxing, eating and taking photos.
It was bliss. The conditions were absolutely perfect,
there was no snow but that didn't bother us because
it meant we could get out and get lots of stunning landscape
shots, Scotland is a very photogenic Country. You can
view our Scotland photos in the LANDSCAPES,
TREES
and OTHER
sections.
